Phonology
|
Phonology is a term that relates to the sounds available in a language. The various sounds in a language can range from vowel sounds to a strange clicking sound made by people who hide in bushes and throw spears. (We don't make this up, folks.) Phonology separates the various individual sounds of a language, known as phonemes, and considers the rules each language has for putting them together. |
